Our Lake

We went to "our lake" to see the fall leaves. We were a one week and one snow storm too late. The leaves had already fallen. It was still pretty. Warren fell asleep on the way up there. So when we got him out he was too grumpy and tried to walk around the lake. He fought it the whole time. We ended up carrying him the whole way. Funny thing is we own 3 strollers and a Sherapani back pack and didn't take any of them assuming the boys would want to walk. We got punk'd bad on that one.

Garden After Dark

One of my FAVORITE fall activities is Garden After Dark at Red Butte. It is so cute. We went on the prefect night. Not a huge crowd and the weather was PERFECT. Warren had a blast. It is such a classic, non-commercial way to celebrate Halloween. So many fun things for the kids to do. They painted pumpkins, made glow in the dark masks, flowers and mushrooms. We went through a mini haunted forest that is perfect for a 4 year old. We had a great time.

We left Westi Poopers home. As cute as he is, he's not a lot of fun in public. So thanks Linda for taking that little squirt. It was fun to have time with just Warren and give him some much needed attention.

They made these masks that were glowing in the dark when we walked around the rest of the Garden. So cute and fun.

Cornbelly's
We also went to Cornbelly's. My honest opinion.... overrated. But Warren has ben asking us for a year to take him so we did. It was ok but I think a little over-promised and under-delivered.

The best part about October is it's the 25th today and the fun has only started. We have Warren's birthday, trunk-r-treats, Halloween parties. So much fun.
