Celebrating December

I am determined to fill the month of December with fun and memories. So here is what has been going on this week.....

My favorite December tradition is getting a hotel room at the Downtown Marriott for a night. We have dinner at the Lion House Pantry, go see the lights and then swim. The boys love this little mini vacay so much.
Seriously.... How cute is it that Warren has his hand on Westi's shoulder? Just taking it all in, watching the ice skaters at the Gallivan Center.

Warren thinks sleeping on a pull out bed is so awesome.

Our off the charts, super tall 2 year old has out-grown the pack n play. :( He's seriously so tall. And he has massive hands and feet. Warren and Weston share shoes. Weston's hands are even bigger than Warren's now. He can palm a mini basketball.

Warren is in a thumbs up phase and I love it.

Warming up in the hot tub after seeing the lights. We had the pool to ourselves all night. It was awesome.

Yes, we put our 5 year old in a stroller. It's easier to put a blanket on him and keep him warm/happy that way.

A few nights on the activity advent calendar we have Christmas crafts.
The boys loved painting ornaments.

Our ward party was awesome. The committee did an awesome job. They really put a lot of time into this Night in Bethlehem. The kids loved all of the activities. Weston took his shirt off and we couldn't find it for most of the night. I guess that's one good thing about being 2. You don't have to wear clothes. Warren rocked the shepard gear and cowboy boots.

Ugly sweater party

What has Wally been up to??
Rapelling....

Taking a nice bubble bath.....
Wally has been busy reporting back to the North Pole. The kids have been pretty good. They still need reminding though.

One of the other super fun activities we did last night was the Winchester Progressive dinner. I'm sad I didn't take pictures. We had the house all decked out and made some yummy food. We have been doing this little dinner for YEARS. It actually started way back when I was little and we would go to our aunt's and uncle's houses. Now that all of my siblings are married we just do it with our immediate family. It is so much fun to get our house all ready for the family. And I LOVE going to see everyone's decorations. We usually start at our house for appetizers, then to my brother's house for salad, then another yummy something at Courtney's house and we finish off with dessert at Meredith's house. We don't stop at my mom's house because we are there for Christmas and see her house then. And it's all about getting to show your house off and seeing our sib's houses and their decor. It is such a fun tradition.

Here's to another fun December week.
