Busy doesn't begin to explain it.

I can't believe it is December 21 already!! It has been SO crazy, but a lot of fun. We have probably spent 2 nights this month at home. I kind of feel like we just come home to sleep, shower and re-pack a diaper bag. We have done Festival of Trees, family parties, friend parties, Christmas light viewing and going to a lot of fun dinners. It has been so much fun to have Warren this season. Last year, he was so little, we didn't do much. Now it is fun to see his little personality come out. He LOVED Santa. He thought the lights were pretty cool but has really loved all the parties we have gone to. He is a very social little boy.

Here are a few pictures of some of my favorite Christmas activities.

We caught wind of my mom and dad's ward party having a Santa and Mrs. Clause. We thought this would be way better than going to the mall to stand in line. Warren loved Santa and Mrs. Clause. His friend Jake... not so much.

I also loved going down to see the lights at Temple Square. We started at the Lion House Pantry for dinner. This is my new favorite tradition! When you are there, you are able to get the true spirit of Christmas. It is so beautiful.

Last night we had the annual Kemp Family Christmas Party. We almost had the entire family there which was about 45 people. 8 of those were 2 and under which really keept us all on our toes. It was a great party.

Tonight I decided to pretend for a little while I am still a kid. We bought one of those Costco gingerbread kits. It isn't as easy as it looks, but we had fun.

Warren couldn't care less about building the Gingerbread house. We were in the kitchen and he was in the family room. All of a sudden I heard this sound which I immediately knew was my curious little boy getting the M & M's. The funny thing about this is they were up high on our entertainment center. He knows where they are because he will reach for them all of the time until I give him one. Well, he figured he could get to them himself by putting his Lighting Macqueen next to the entertainment center to use it as a step. I couldn't help but laugh.... especially because by the time we got to him his mouth was FULL of M & M's. I have a feeling this is just the beginning of the mischievious behavior. Oh I love that kid.

Well, only 3 more days until the hustle and bustle settles. Enjoy it. Before you know it we will all have the January blahs and be bored out of our minds.

Merry Christmas.
